什么是发光?

课程类型
在家学习准备课程(学前班 & 幼儿园)
This program provides Pre-K and Kindergarten students with in home tutoring visits three to four times per month to help prepare them 在学业上 and socially for Kindergarten 一年级. The program serves students from the aforementioned schools/districts. The Home 访问or will work with children on pre-academic goals and social skills needed for kindergarten along with hands-on STEAM based projects that will help to ease the 转入下一阶段的发光项目. 本程序不仅支持 the child, it also encourages parental involvement in their child’s educational development, and offers creative strategies that allow the parents to better assist their children 在学业上. In addition, the in home academic readiness session program works with parents to create a Family Educational Plan that connects them with family literacy programs, computer training, Career Link, GED, ESL and college opportunities.
中学课程(5-8年级)

初级课程(1-4年级)
发光 elementary centers provide STEAM project based learning for students in grade 上述学校/地区的1-4名学生. 初等班的学生 are engaged with age-appropriate STEAM projects in areas such as robotics, 3D printing, creative writing, general science, meteorology, career exploration, and art. 它是 mandatory for elementary students to attend the program four days/week.

High school students in grades 9-12 can participate in the 发光 program as high school 导师.
